Allegan County Michigan | I'm 59, its been there as long as I can remember...grew up in quincy.
Talked to my nephew today, he farms just south of there. That office-scale house was two stories tall, the corn did not bury it, it pushed it into the river.
Imagine all the records, etc. just gone.
3 hours later, there would have been at least 3 people in the building, probably 4 plus guys running around unloading trucks, plus the truckers.
Hope they rebuild, competition is good.
Town residents said they heard it go, not a boom at all, more like a whale sound they said. Like nothing they had ever heard.
