Where exactly is this located? I’m assuming close to a town along the river.

Think of this kind of thing happening any time I’m in a facility with large bins or silos. A bunch of energy when those decide to fail. Many are getting a lot of age on them. Thankfully no one was caught in this one.


I went to one of the TV station sites that he listed and found that the location is LaGrange, Missouri.
Found it on Google maps satellite view ( my post , above). Below is Google street view from Aug 2016.

Using Google maps you can measure distances on maps or satellite view. I zoomed in as close as it would go and measured the bin diameter. It showed 116 feet. And that measuring system is pretty darned accurate, too.
