For what it’s worth, and what I pay a lot of attention too, you have a 1 1/2% chance of dying in the next year, and an average life expectancy of 18 more years. Armed with that knowledge, it may help you make a more informed decision. I wouldn’t advise anyone your age in average health to enter into a transaction that didn’t have VERY high odds of getting my original investment back two and a half times (as an absolute minimum) in the expected 18 years you have left.
