West Central Wisconsin | Did you know your passport has an expiration date? Did you know some countries will not allow you in to their country three months before the passport expiration date? My youngest daughter found out just that yesterday when they checked in at O'Hare Airport for their flight to South Korea. Her "pre" expiration date would have been this coming Tuesday, about halfway through their planned vacation. They were able to recover about 40% of the flight costs and then booked a flight to Cancun. My daughter is an extreme planner but she totally missed this one little detail. I think she is probably madder at herself than South Korea's policy. At least she didn't get over there and have it expire. Joe | |
