Floyd County, Iowa | I specifically asked my State Farm agent about roof collapse and damages to contents a couple years ago.
He told me that my buildings aren't covered for roof collapse from snow, as they have to be under a certain age (IIRC it was 10 years, but not certain) and mine are older than that.
BUT, the machinery and contents inside the collapsed building were covered if it was listed on my policy.
The home is covered, though. | |
