Subject: Fertilizing Timothy hay

Southern Indiana
For you hay guys should I go ahead and fertilize now or wait. I'm doing grass hay (fescue and orchardgrass) and pasture this week but since Timothy is later maturing wondered if I should wait a couple weeks. I've been told early fertilizer will cause it to mature earlier, possibly before a good weather window is available.
All my other hay gets put up high moisture, but plan to small square this for the horse market. Thanks!
