Subject: Anyone use 500ish# of Gypsum as their Sulfate source?

20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana
I’m using a fair amount of AMS and just wondered if AMS got too someday if anyone was using a low rate of bulk gypsum as their Sulfate source? I think a ton of gypsum has 18% Sulfate? Maybe that’s the calcium? Can’t remeber...

I assume it’d be tough to get a floater with a lime bed to go much lower then 500# if that was even possible?

Currently I’m paying $350ish a ton for AMS and spreading 100-150# per acre. I figure my app is free when having to compare it to Gypsum because I have the AMS spread the same time as my N-P-K app in the spring.

Just nosey...
