You will loose a considerable amount of power running a inverter.
Also the small cheap inverters don't last very long in my experience.

Were me, i wouldn't consider using a inverter.

Don't know how much you will need, but figure on some cloudy short days in winter. I would sure think 200 watts would run a fencer. Makes a lot of difference if you can keep fence from shorting out.

Also hook the panels in series for 24 volt (nominal) into a power point tracking charge control output set to charge 12 volt batteries. That way voltage will be high enough to put some power into the batteries even on cloudy days.

And put panels on a mount that can be tilted straight up & down on snowy days. With bright snow on ground, leave them that way.
