Yes, where I farm in MN most of the stuff was drained already in the 30's and 40's, by mid 80's almost everything had some tile under it or a ditch through it. Only things being done now is new tiles put in as most of the old ones aren't adequate enough for a wet year, they keep the pond away on an average year but that is about it.
