Subject: Crop insurance for small farmers

Western NY
I know you big farmers have the crop insurance game figured out, I envy what u guys have figured out. My question is does it pay for smaller operations? I’m new to farming only been doing it for 7 years. Are worst bpa was 80. Are best was 195. The worst yields where in the beginning. Is it possible to have a zero year???? We don’t borrow money for the crop year because me and my father have 9-5 jobs. Would it pay to insure the crop I’m guessing $30-$40 on 2000 acres. Tia
