NW Tennessee | Kinda the same thing here, Von, although a little older. Turned 58 last month.
I had some livestock of my own a couple years before I started high school. I probably had my first 10 acres of crop all my own about the same time for 4-H.
But I know for sure I had cattle, hogs, and crops for FFA projects starting in 1975.
Mentally, I sure don’t feel 58 years old, but there are times I do physically! My dad is still farming and working most days at 85, hope I can do the same. | |
