In addition, get one big enough to cover all your farm debt. There will be a lot of variation in premium quotes, have a trusted insurer help shop it around and find what works. You should be able to buy a 20 year term policy pretty cheap, and as time goes on roll it forward, or add to it with more as you incur more debt.
