I cashed in my insurance and got direct prepaid cremation. For us it has been a good way to go because it takes the stress away of making things happen in a hurry.
For my Mother and Wife family was several states away. We made arrangements with a relative to have memorial services at their church on a Saturday, then had a meal and visitation at Western Sizzlin .
