Subject: RE: Dumping hot from dryer into bin

ECND
I have dumped hot into a 48' - 8ring bin for 10 years. Dumping at 145*, 2-15 h.p. fans and a Bullseye non-rotating bin spreader. I have pulled out corn while drying many times to either fill a fall contract or transfer to another bin and have never had a problem. I do have 6 bin temperature cables in the bin and run the fans for about a week after final drying and then core it (1000 bu.) and monitor it about once a month from December till whenever I haul it out....sometimes June. All winter I keep the corn temp at about 10* so it will keep till it gets sold. This is ECND for geographical reference. Darren
