western iowa,by Denison | the bale I showed is a outside bale with lot of snow moisture-the couple of skid loader deals I have seen are usually dry bedding -
usually less then ideal condition's and we are blowing over the bunk-I have tried teagle and couple others with blowers on demos-so far nothing beats shredders that can blow it out the length of the rotor-usually can blow 2 bales in less then 3 -minutes-wetter bales maybe a little longer time frame-dry bales like a lot of videos show less then 1 minute-you can buy bale kings used for around 8-$9,000-about same money as skid loader ones that are slow-unless the product getting processed is dry
we have used the 4020-but the 8400 john deere will smoke it right thru
So to answer the original poster-if you don't want a blower a simple bale king will work fine-we run stainless panels because it helps when you throw those bales in after a 2 inch rain-around 10,000 bales thru it so far | |
