Lucas's comment is important.

The relationship that you have presented between % mg and yield is very interesting but it is difficult to know what is going on without identifying if there are other parameters in your data set that are strongly correlated with %mg or yield.

Regarding management options, you might want to dig up some soil, send off a little for analysis, amend the rest at an agronomic rate with gypsum, calcitic lime or other amendments of interest (e.g., adding ~0.2 oz of lime to 10 lbs of soil is equivalent to adding 1 ton of lime to a 2 million lb plow layer), place the amended soil in a large pot with good drainage and then retest the soil after a year.
