That's a perfect illustration of why animals are raised the way they are. Using that guy's #'s his break even is roughly $2/lb. Well let's see, let's say the average hog price has been 50ยข/lb the last 10 years he would lose his a$$ without a niche. If all hogs in the US were raised the way the hippies believe it should be done, the niche wouldn't exist. Then all the hog farmers would be screwed.
