North Liberty and South Bend, Indiana | I was once told that federal crop insurance always returns more in premiums than it pays out. Even in 2012. I question if it really is subsidized. I know it shows it on your policy but I believe it may be a farse. Kinda like when you go to NAPA and they show on the receipt the list price and your price. No one pays the list price, its there to make you feel like you got a deal. Same with crop insurance premiums. If someone can provide facts otherwise that would be very informative. |
