As far as who actually gets subsidized, I personally am of the opinion that the consumer gets cheaper food because of all of this than if it didn't exist. If not cheaper at least lower highs and higher lows.

That is the whole point... fat and sassy citizens that don’t have to worry about where their next meal comes from do not revolt

Yep, and no way would a "farmer" be a socialist pig, it's all those other people. Socialists are becoming more popular every day in politics and news, but of course it's everyone else falling for it, not farmers. Again, the pigs have their heads buried in the trough and the ration is slowly being changed.

So what are you doing to prevent the slaughter of farmers through socialistic ag programs. Just “not taking the money” isn’t enough. You will get blown out of the business. You going to run for secretary of Ag or just keep posting here. I don’t much care for the free money as I think a business should float its own but constantly berating those who are using the programs to keep up with the competition is the minimum action a person could take to change anything

What’s your plan to fight the feeding?

boy oh boy, I think we could fill 100 pages with this argument, most are obviously relinquished to just going with the flow and saying it's what they got to do to participate in the debauchery and stay in business, well that is how it works, a Bible man like you, Fry, should understand. It's the structure this industry has fell into over the last 20-30 years. The winners from it are the present, the losers are the coming generations, but the changes are so gradual they won't know any different and think their circumstances are all normal. The old boars are wandering along the trough looking for those with their heads fully submerged in the slop. Careful how deep you get your head in for your indulgence, those boars are lonely. Good luck and I won't post on anymore of these topics. I'm not out in the fight to the bottom looking for new ground. I've got a few good landlords I'll continue working with and farm my own ground and buy more. I don't live where I can insure a profit or even consistently get the yields you guys post about, so it only indirectly affects me. I'll just keep adding cows to keep me busy until that industry gets fully violated beyond the finishing end as it nearly already has. Good luck, we are a world in transition, and its heading a long ways opposite the direction of what was stood for in the Revolutionary War.
