Subject: Down cow

Southern Indiana
Noticed a cow Mon evening about dark didn't act just right. Got her in tues morning and called the vet. She was leaning and spinning to the left and a little agitated. Gave her nuflor, thiamine and dex. Vet said she has either lysteria or polio. Said she would get better, but I'm not so sure. She's laying down with her head tucked backed tight against her neck to the left. Tried to get some water down her yesterday with a hose with limited succes. He said we could give her another round of shots Sat. Talked to a friend yesterday who had 4 like this a few years ago. Saved one. His vet blamed it on mold in the baleage.
What is your guess on her prognosis?
