You are right that he will likely never forget that day. He’s the one that found the fire and came running to tell me about it. Fortunately the spray tender truck was full of water and only a few hundred feet away, because as fast as that grass fire was spreading it would have been in to some equipment in a couple more minutes. It could have made a pretty big mess if we weren’t around or if we had to wait for the fire department. It started with a bird shorting out something at the transformer pole nearby.
