Subject: insulating lambing barn

Manitoba
can get pretty cold here in canada, was minus 30 for most of february. If i had a smaller lambing barn (30'x30'x 12' high) i'd like to insulate would 2" of pink styrofoam board on walls and roof be adequate, i think it's R-10 value. with the animals and straw pack inside would that hold my temperatures about thawing/freezing point? I can go more in the roof but the walls are only 2 inches thick so i'm limited to 2" insualtion. I could go with spray foam and it's R14 for 2" but about triple the cost of board insulation.
