Southwest OK
Raised cows- 90% weaned off exposed cows
45 day exposure, 91% bred least profitable enterprise.

Raised heifers- 84% weaned off exposed
45 day exposure 85% bred

Trader cows- 97% wean rate, all purchased bred

Purchased heifers 70% wean rate,
72% conception, 45 day exposure. these produce the best cash flow

Piggy purchased heifers- 95% wean rate all bought bred. These are all stocker heifers that get sorted off at the sale barn in the spring. Most profitable enterprise.

Much better metric is net profit per acre, or per cow exposed.
