| I learned a little bit two years ago.
I was straddling the lowest branch of a large oak (branch was 12”+) when I trimmed it off. Well it was long enough that the end of the branch hit the ground first and spring the limb back towards the trunk. Well somehow I still have legs. The limb wedges itself up against the tree right under my legs.
I don’t know if I learned my lesson to not cut while straddling the limb but at least make sure it is short enough that it will fall all the way to the ground so it doesn’t come back at me like that.
