NE WI | I’m nowhere near that close when the tree starts moving. I’m moving away as fast as I can in a path I have cleared. If the saw gets stuck I leave it. Far cheaper to replace a saw than a hospital visit. Trees like that can twirl and spring back. Gotta watch when limbing as sprung branches can have enough energy to take a leg off. Happened here when a guy cut a sprung branch and it caught his leg and threw him 15’. They tried to save his leg but in the end took it off.
You got lucky. | |
