Casey IL. ( I -70 ) then south on rt.49 | Talking to a friend this morning he is going out every 2 hours. Had 2 last night , brought them in and warmed them up for an hour. Said he lost that nap time. At 6: 30 he was going back out. Been thinking of turning bull in later. Will remember my bull trouble last year, that's where I think I'm lucky because time wise we should be calving but nothing going on. So the old saying rather be lucky than good. So I guess I'll see how I like later calving. I do think he covered some but replaced him July the sixth he got 2 right off the bat. We are checking every day for prospect for the calving barn. Got 2 in there right now but I think I jumped the gun.
Feeling for all you guys that are fighting it. But muddy is just around the corner. I will get the mudd looks like. We'll see how that goes. At least the heifers are done.
