No point in fretting what we can't change....weather. Beautiful night here, Just put another fresh pair in the barn, she was wondering around the corral trying to find mom among the breds when I got there, she was working on nursing when I left, Hopefully a done deal when I check at 2. If I breed hfrs this spring I'm not changing a thing, It's cold, Yes. But, it's my slow time. The feedlot is full and all the calves are on feed and its too froze up to haul manure. Calving heifers in March fits my work load. Cows start April 8th.......I'm going to have my hands full work load wise then. Hopefully they are on the easy button.....yeah right, Be mud muck boot deep then.
