Subject: RE: Township Snow Removal

E.Central MN
Here the county takes care of it with trucks, most are tandems. They do the paved roads first and then do the gravel roads. Sometimes they'll just make one pass, but normally they do a pass each direction and then come back the next day and make another pass to clean the road surface all the way to the edge of the ditch before the next storm. The fully loaded trucks plow at faster speeds which throws the snow further into the ditch. Could be a problem if we get the snow they are predicting because the snow is piled up pretty high in some spots, won't take much of a wind to drift in and block the road.
