SE SD | Our township will pay so much per loader hour if you need to dig yourself out. I run the maintainer for the township, and also work a full time job. I try and get out with in 24 hours to at least open the roads. Like yesterday with the wind blowing all day I will run them tonight. We try and get there as soon as we can, but not always is the maintainer plugged in ready to go. Before we bought our maintainer we hired another company to do our roads. There was times it was 2-3 weeks before they would get to our township. We had to rely on neighbors with tractors to dig/blow some people out. Now its a lot better having our own blade.
