Top middle of MO. land of green hills and grass | Dad tells about going out with grandpa to spread clover and trefoil seed with horn seeders after grandpa got home from delivering mail every day. I dont remember what their goal was...25# an afternoon before they had to quit and go milk?
Much Later on, I remember grandpa loved birds foot trefoil. He’d go to the point of collecting seed by hand and scattering it in other places, so there were these scattered patches. Before he died, his entire place had yellow all over.
Thanks for the input. I think I’ll get the raw and get it scattered. Had a couple ponds built last summer and didn’t get hardly anything started on them, so they need some help. |
