Northeast Missouri | I set mine to cover about half the hole (I use a certain number size drill bit to set them). I've never found it necessary to change them much. Just to confirm my settings I have set the test stand to speeds above 10 mph with equal results of 99.8% singulation or better. I usually plant between 5 and 6 mph, depending on the impending weather forecast.
I won't badmouth esets or anyone that uses them. All I know is the ProMax units plant just fine.
