E. CO, exactly half way between NE and OK | My book says the 745 has an Allis Chalmers model 11000 engine. I had a tractor with that engine in it and they are a good engine. Mine had a Bosch PSB injection pump. The high pressure lines leaving the pump are in a circle on the PSB pumps. My tractor wouldn't start because the pump was worn and wouldn't pump at cranking speed. I had the pump rebuilt and they had trouble finding the plunger and barrel for the pump, but they did. The engine started good after that. Does the loader say Fiat Allis or just Allis Chalmers? If the injection pump have the high pressure lines in a row, you have an APE Bosch pump (I think). |
