Texas/New Mexico Stateline

Had homemade hot yeast rolls a couple times a week when I was in school.

They do make things like chili, stews, baked chicken, beans still, at least here. But lots of hot dogs, corn dogs, burritos, steak fingers, chicken nuggets that all come out of a bag too.

They also use a tremendous amount of paper and plastic, as they don't put food directly on the trays any more. They pre-load little foam and paper containers for all the different meal items. Seems like a lot of trash going in the landfills. But they only have 3-4 workers in the kitchen, where when I was a kid, I would suspect they had about 8-10 if memory serves. That is a lot less labor costs.
