Reno Co KS
I don't know of any schools that still make their own food. Most is just frozen and reheated it seems. I go in several schools during the year. I ask about the big mixer and other old equipment, but most hasn't been used in years. In the 80s we still had home made food and and old lunch ladies. Really good food. Don't get me started on healthy school breakfasts of pop tarts, doughnuts and chocolate milk... no wonder kids are bouncing of the walls.
