I agree, but at 10,000 cows we will only need about 1000 dairies. milk magazine had an article lamenting that large animal vets are starting to really be hurt and don't know how long many will hold on. People have been telling anyone who would listen for the last twenty plus years that the dairy infrastructure will not survive the consolidation, but they laughed.
