Subject: RE: On Farm Nitrogen Storage

Croswell, Michigan
I have 12-2500 gal tanks in an old pig barn. 28% is $80/ton more now than when I booked it in July. Took delivery in December. I would say these tanks pay for themselves in about two years and are money makers every year after that. As others have said size them big enough to hold a semi load plus a little extra so if you have a little left over it’s not an issue.

I would be thinking more how much do you need for the year rather than how much you use in a day. We can go through 4500gal/day easy when top dressing wheat
