Subject: RE: Anyone use Pramitol

Floyd County, Iowa
I guess you can spray it with any sprayer, but why would you kill EVERYTHING in a fence row? Wouldn't a good broadleaf killer take care of the weeds? Kill the weeds with a broadleaf herbicide, and the grasses will help keep them down, once you get it cleaned up.
After the Pramitol breaks down and leaves, the weeds (not grass) will REALLY take over. It also moves with rain, killing everything wherever the rain runs to.
JMO, but if you're inclined to use Pramitol, you just as well pull the fence out and farm it instead.

edit: I used to just use 2,4-d on fence rows, but the Canada thistles started taking over, so switched to Grazon and/or Crossbow, spiked with a little non-ionic. That works on thistles, giant rags, velvetleaf, small wild plums, and every other broadleaf pest!
