Someone asked last week about corn planting down here in the RGV, we took a drive toward the Raymondville area on Friday and saw one or two fields that were just breaking the ground, one guy was rotary hoeing. Lots of planters going, planting on ridges, mostly stale seed bed that had been sprayed a week ago or so. Don't know what percent of land will be going to cotton????? Saw a neighbor from home at restaurant/bar on our trip to Port Mansfield, a fishing town along the coast. Nice day for a road trip. Good shrimp burger.

There’s a bbq cookoff goin on this weekend in port Mansfield

Lots of guys are planting sorghum already. What route did you take? 77 to 186?
