ESW ND | I'm willing to be he got hit or about dumped it on it's side. Looking at the damage on his step and the fender, I'd say he's lucky he didn't lose his tank. Coulda ruptured it though.
Years ago I was hauling hay. Filled fuel for the night and seen fuel leaking under one of my tanks. I had a small hole from rocks hitting on it. I had nothing with to stop it. Went into the truck stop and bought a couple small jugs and a bar of zest. Rubbed the zest in the hole to slow the dribble down to a drip. Set the jug under the tank for the night and dumped the little tiny amount out that was in it. Rubbed more zest in it the next morning. Drove to where I needed to unload. Got home, drained the tank, cleaned the bottom and jb'ed the tank up real nice. Still there and holding 15 years later. | |
