WC Iowa | Your question is impossible to answer. Every day there are probably a couple thousand factors pushing the market one way or the other. No one knows which one or combination is moving the market. When market commentators or analysists say item 1 or item 2 is moving the market they are only commenting on the most obvious possibility which may or may not be the correct reason why the market is moving. The market is big enough that almost no one knows for sure where the push comes from. And if they really do know, they sure won't be telling.
