Subject: Lawn Sprayer Setups

Whenever it stops raining, I plan on spraying my yard.

Current Setup:
Yamaha 450 Kodiak 4x4
25 Gallon tank with electric pump setting on back rack of 4 wheeler
Boom bolted onto back hitch with 3 flood nozzles covering 120 inches

I am looking to purchase a John Deere X380 mower. Deere has a sprayer you can mount on the back of the mower. My local dealers do not have one for me to look at, but I would like to build a mount on the back of the mower to spray with. It just does not seem like there is much to mount to back there. I would hate to make a mount and ruin the frame.

I would like to have it on my mower because the 4 wheel works, but isn't as easy to maneuver. I know Deere also sells weights for the front of the mower, so I could also mount the tank in front and the boom in the back too.

What kind of setup do you guys use? Also would like to rig up a light bar on the X380 for spraying and fert application. That may be a little to complicated! :)
