| Yup, exactly. He claims it’s just like the stock market, and he’s right on that point. What he is conveniently omitting is everyone has to make that first acquisition. Where in cycle was that first purchase, and of what dollar amount? If he wants to use the stock market for justification, then he should study up on what the term “order of returns “ means. If a person makes that first purchase at the wrong time, and it’s of significant enough amount, his balance sheet won’t allow to make the second purchase most likely, as financing will no longer be an option. And without financing, further acquisitions ain’t gonna happen. And he’s also right, nobody can time the market. Therefor you’d best hope and pray Lady Luck is on your side, cuz if she isn’t, you’re washed up. | |
