I have been looking to buy a flatbed dump truck for hauling wet bales and ran across a truck I am interested in.

2009 Pete 335
6.7 liter ISX Cummins
Alison automatic
DPF system. (No delete has been done)
225,000 miles.
Pristine condition.

I know nothing about Peterbuilts as I have only owned Ford Louisville's and IH S series trucks. Are these Pete's really worth the extra coin? Are the 335's built as well as their bigger brothers? How about the emmissions on these trucks? My diesel shop says it could cost up to 10k to delete it if it requires a new manifold. I know the early years of DPF was a headache on some trucks.

This truck will cost about 5k more than a comparable IH. Is it worth it?

Thanks in advance for any wisdom!

ran a 2011 337 with a px-6 aka ISB 6.7 300hp allison auto rollback for a towing company it was a great truck had a couple NOX sensor burn out on me but wasnt much down time at all

the px motor is a cummins just a bigger turbo and a different ecu tune towing company also had a 2009 ford f650 which was a great truck with a 300hp isb 6.7 and it would run with the peterbilt all day long
