western iowa | I change oil like you do, from 100-150 hours. In a pinch, if I didn't have the filter on hand, I have only changed the oil. But that's usually just on cars or light pickup at 3000 miles. I think the regular oil change is the most important thing. But if you don't change the filter some old oil stays in the engine. Not a fan of the newer extended oil change intervals. If you change regularly at 250-300 hours, it is that same filter for the whole time. Just my 2 cents. | |
