That is a huge amp draw, something should be pretty obvious if it is accurate. However, it is not that simple to check parasitic draw with a vehicle that has all the electronic modules like todays automobiles.
The issue is when ever you disconnect power and reconnect it(like hooking your meter in) the modules "wake up" and start drawing power all over again. You then have to wait until all the electronics power down and the last Ford I messed with took over 20 minutes to do so. A lot of your draw could be this normal operation. The key to doing this procedure is to keep power flowing all the time while disconnection and hooking up the meter.
I built a special cable disconnect to install, run the unit and then shunt power to meter without ever truly stopping current flow.
