| One of the best financial deals I ever made was buying a foreclosed duplex. It was held by Fannie Mae so part of their rules are they have to allow people who are going to live there (owner occupied) first crack at it and they also list it at relatively low price. After a year you can move out without issue. In terms of ROI, best thing I've ever done.
