You have my sympathy ! did this last year only I have aluminum frame .I removed 24 of 26 bolts i needed to to replace all the bushings on the last couple I finally took the blocks you are describing to a local black smith shop and he charged 330$ to remove them apparently it didnt go well for him either , probably wind up drilling them out and when I replaced I used antiseize on bolts ,
