What do you do in the high water table situation? Typically don't have an issue here, but we are so far above normal on rainfall that I know my heat wells all have water in them. I am always open for suggestions to make these waterers trouble free, and I know what usually works here won't work everywhere.

I usually recommend going deeper than standard with a heat well especially on the energy free waterers. Most guys here want to put a ball waterer out for 10 head, and I try to talk them out of it.

Not much you CAN do.
You install a heated waterer and drop heat trace cable into the line.
You DON'T use any kind of heat well (that sucker will fill with water and then 'freeze' then there is not fun in Mudsville when you're playing with hot water trying to thaw the !@#$%^ thing).
