Lots of good advice!
Another thing is when you dig the footer our guy has driven a stake in the center of the pad and chained a trencher to it and dug the footer with the trencher going around the circumference.
If,you hire a busy concrete contractor you might see if you can do the prep work and then just have him and his crew do the actual placing.
