Good advice here already. I will add 5-bag air mix. Five-inch slump is about right. If you hire it placed or finished, they will keep signaling the driver to add water. Nip this in the bud. If they don't want to deal with 5-in slump look for another contractor. Wet the ground before you pour or have plastic under the slab. Cover the concrete with plastic or wet burlap/straw and keep wet until it is thoroughly set -- a couple of days. You want the right amount of water...not too runny and you don't want to lose that water to evaporation or leaching. Plenty of rebar, set on dobies (blocks) about 1/6 of the slab thickness off the ground. You cannot pack the substrate too much! Harder the better. Vibrate the footing, if it is massive enough, but don't overdo it. Use the release fluid on the forms and gently tap them as you pour...until the milk just appears at top. Work quickly with the screed and float = have plenty of help. We like to put a gentle downward slope around the outside edge, from where the bin wall will sit. Start as early in the morning as possible and try to have it covered before the sun gets too hot.
